($4.99) Fun fact: This is the first of three Starks comics on this list.

Mark’s pick: TMNT/Usagi Yojimbo: WhereWhen #2: Sent back in time to feudal Japan, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles immediately face a fight for their lives against Yukichi and Jotaro. Mistaking the Turtles for the violent kappa terrorizing a nearby village, the long-eared samurai descend upon the Turtles with swords brandished. Can the TMNT convince Usagi’s allies to aid in their mission to stop Dr. WhereWhen from changing the future? Or will the larger threat prevail while Lord Noriyuki’s forces march into the final battle with the Dark Lord Hikiji? By Stan Sakai for IDW. ($4.99)

Zack’s pick: Where Monsters Lie #4: The monsters residing at Wilmhurst find their secret haven’s time cut short as law enforcement comes knocking at their door for a bloody showdown. Written by Kyle Starks and drawn by Piotr Kowalski for Dark Horse. ($3.99) This is the second of three Starks comics on this list.

Rasmus’ pick: Love Everlasting #7, specifically the Gabriel Walta variant: Joan wakes up in a world she does not and cannot understand. Every rule has been broken, and she must fight her way out of this new trap of love or face her greatest fear: her wedding night. Written by Tom King and drawn by Elsa Charretier for Image. ($3.99)

Armaan’s pick: Fuck This Place #8: After jumping through a mysterious portal, Gabby finally gets some answers about what the hell is going on. Meanwhile, Trudy is reunited with a literal ghost from their past. Written by Kyle Starks and drawn by Artyom Topilin for Image/Skybound. ($3.99) Triple Starks is best.

Chewie finds that putting his trust in Calrissian is a gamble that just might pay off, as Lando calls on his skills as a smuggler to make it out alive. Written by Stephanie Phillips (Rogue & Gambit) and drawn by Alvaro Lopez (Captain Marvel). ($4.99)

Araña and Spider-Man 2099: Dark Tomorrow: Anya Corazon was a normal Brooklyn teenager with normal Brooklyn problems, until a few months ago, when she was gifted with amazing spiderlike abilities, from super-strength and heightened agility to web-slinging. Nueva York is the future of New York City, the home of the Spider-Man of 2099, and where Anya finds herself stranded, tossed across the century. Araña and Spider-Man 2099 are about to discover that the enemies they face have dark and powerful connections to both heroes, and that this unlikely team across time will need to save much more than each other.
