BatChat With Matt & Will: On the Trail of Darwyn Cooke

Selina's Big Score Banner

There are those creators you just come back to, whose work never ceases to amaze. Darwyn Cooke is one of those creators. Passing on too young, Cooke still left an impressive body of work, a lot of which was Batman or Batman adjacent. We’re returning to his work this week with two intertwined tales of Catwoman and a one shot that follows up on New Frontier that proves even the best creator does miss every now and then.

  • Trail of the Catwoman (Detective Comics V.1 #759-762 back-ups)
  • Catwoman: Selina’s Big Score OGN
  • Justice League: The New Frontier Special

Matt Lazorwitz read his first comic at the age of five. It was Who's Who in the DC Universe #2, featuring characters whose names begin with B, which explains so much about his Batman obsession. He writes about comics he loves, and co-hosts the creator interview podcast WMQ&A with Dan Grote.
